Multi Sensory Learning Centre
At the Specialist Learning Centre, we have students from 11 to 21 years of age. Each class is well equipped with staff, resources and programmes of work that help us learn to the best of our ability. We follow the National Curriculum as well as have our own Community Skills based programme. We also join mainstream classes for Technicraft subjects and those subjects with a special interest for us. The best thing about the Specialist Learning Centre is that we are able to pursue our learning at our own pace.

Riki helped to make the lava flow in our volcano. There was a chemical reaction when the vinegar mixed with the baking soda.
James ironed the seams of his calico bag that we made in Sewing at St. Andrews Technology. His bag can carry his togs when he goes swimming.
Joshua is using the touchscreen monitor on the computer to activate the computer programmes. We found some fun activities on the Priory Woods School website.
We have been doing Numeracy in our school this year. Julian is using the abacus to count numbers up to a hundred.
