As part of our Autumn study, we visited the Taitua Arboretum. The opportunities to explore, to find and to experience the autumn leaves were endless. The walk also developed our language skills and our maths skills with size, shape and colour. |

Room 6 studied Fire Safety with the Firewise Programme. The students learned the important rule of Get Down, Get Low, Get Out. The Fire Service came to our school and Esther loved sitting in the fire truck. |

On a recent outing, we practised and developed our road safety skills. The students learned safety in the car park and watching closely cars coming out of driveways. They also demonstrated the rules of using a pedestrian crossing. |
